  • New Restaurant Opens: Paul’s Kitchen BBQ & Beyond is one of the newest additions to the Hub City restaurant scene. Their goal is to serve you some of the best tasting BBQ & Vietnamese Dishes like Pho, while becoming a long-term member of the foodie community.

  • TGI Friday’s Jackson: 12 locations across the country abruptly closed including the Jackson, TN location. TGI Friday’s stated that this was a part of their larger plan to close underperforming stores. September 19th of next year would have been 20 years since the restaurant first started serving Jackson.

  • Early Voting Near You: From October 16th - October 31st, you can beat the long lines and vote early. Many polling sites are expecting higher turnout rates this year after seeing an uptick in the number of new people who registered to vote this.

  • A New Shopping Center: Phase III of the Columns is set to start construction as early as this year after getting approval for the site This 100,000 Sq Ft retail space will have medical facilities, hotels, shopping and dining options!

  • Caddies Sports Club: A virtual indoor golf experience has opened in Jackson this week. This state-of-the-art golf simulator also offers a full service bar and great food, perfect for any sports enthusiast!

  1. 🔺 +7 Affordable Mechanics: This brief cold front has pushed many people to go ahead and start taking care of any mechanical issues with their vehicles. No one wants to be stuck on the side of the road while it’s freezing outside! 😅 

  2. 🔺 +2 Halloween 2024: As everyone starts to finalize their Halloween costumes and make their final touches on decorations, many people are asking & searching for the best neighborhoods to trick or treat!

  3. 🔺 +1 Employment: The holiday season is here, making it the best time to get additional hours or part time work. Jackson’s Amazon Last Mile Facility has started their hiring process for hourly workers. If you are interested call or check at the American Job Center.

  4. 🔺 +1 Early Voting: The 2024 election is less than 3 weeks and people are making sure to cast their ballots early this year! Polling workers are already saying that the turnout has been higher than expected so far. (October 16th - October 31st)

  5. 🔻 - 2 Disaster Relief: Many local fire departments across the state return back to their respective cities after being gone for weeks in order to bring supplies and medical help to areas devastated in East Tennessee.
