• Veterans Day Parade: Jackson’s Veterans Day Parade was suppose to be held this weekend in downtown Jackson with high turnout expected. Due to weather, the Veterans Day Parade has been postponed to Saturday, November 16th.

• New Restaurant: Mediterranean Cuisine Restaurant has gained a dedicated foodie based in Jackson and is officially rolling out a food truck.

• Hurricane Rafael: The latest Hurricane in the Gulf Of Mexico has reached Category 3 strength.

• New Car Wash: South Jackson is getting another car wash beside Captain D’s! Parrot’s Car Wash has started clearing houses and land for the construction. (Estimated Open Date Of Summer 2025.)

• Christmas Parade: Another Parade is happening in Jackson on Monday, December 2nd at 6:30 PM! The theme this year is “Connecting The Community Through Christmas!” The parade will start at City Hall in Downtown Jackson.
