2. Freight Industry Layoffs Hit Tennessee: Adient Plc, Saks Global Tennessee, Bunzl Distribution USA Inc., Corsicana Mattress Co. & Quickway Transportation Inc., have laid off over 1,000 workers across Tennessee.

3. BWX Technologies Continued Investment: The $2 Billion Dollar Nuclear Energy Company Provides Resources To The United States Navy, NASA & Build Small Modular Reactors, Right Here In East Tennessee. BWXT’s Expansion Is Critical To The National Security Of The Country!

4. Tennessee’s New $59 Million TEMA Warehouse: The New TEMA (Tennessee Department Of Emergency Management Agency) Facility Broke Ground Late Last Month & Plans To Be Operation By Next Year. This New Location Will Help The State Respond More Effectively To Disasters Across The State.

5. $1 Billion Dollar Roadway Project: A Statewide Fund Has Been Created That Will Add $80 Million Dollars Per Year To Fix Roads, Bridges & Other Critical Infrastructure Without Raising Taxes Or Adding New Debt. This Is On Top Of The One Time $1 Billion Dollar Injection For Statewide & Local Projects.
