1. Dollar General Expanding: Tennessee Grocery Store Giant Dollar General Plans To Open An Additional 575 New Locations Within The Next Year. This Number Is Down From The 730 Opened In 2024 But These New Locations Are Expected To Be Larger.

2. Haslam College Of Business: The University Of Tennessee Knoxville Is Expanding! Construction Will Start This Fall For A Brand New Addition To The Campus As Enrollment Continues To Increase Year Over Year!

3. New VA Clinic Opening In Tennessee: Millington,Tennessee Broke Ground Earlier This Month On What Will Become The Largest Veteran Outpatient Clinic In Tennessee! This State Of The Art Facility Will Be Located At 4943 W. Union Rd.

4. Hospital Closed For Almost A Year Reopens: Jellico, Tennessee Is Finally Getting Their Hospital Back Since Being Closed In March 2024. Phoenix Rural Health, Which Has A Goal To Save Rural Hospitals Is Set To Run The Facility.

5. Over 700 Jobs Lost: U.S. Tire Maker Bridgestone Announced The Closure Of A Tennessee Plant. The Plant Which Is Located In LaVergne, Will Close This Summer On July 31st.
