• New Company: A new company plans to make its home near Jackson! The South Korean company Aluko Group will be setting up in Madison County. Aluko will be making the battery casings for Ford’s Blue Oval City. (Location) 👈️ 

• Rooftop Bar: HomeSoule an upscale furniture business coming to downtown Jackson in 2025 will also feature an event space & a rooftop bar. (Location) 👈️ 

• Trucking Company Expands: Old Dominion Trucking expands into Jackson with their latest purchase of 17 Acres. Although their plans have not yet been made public, the company previously announced that they would be investing $750 Million dollars in capacity and capital.

• FedEx Spin Off: It was announced this week that the global shipping giant FedEx plans to spin off the freight side of their business into its own separate company. Since Memphis is the Global Hub for FedEx, the company could be setting up to invest heavily into West Tennessee to strengthen this new brand.

• Automotive Merger: Struggling automaker Nissan may be looking to merge with Honda. With the US Nissan headquarters in Franklin, Tennessee and their major manufacturing facility in Smyrna, it has a chance of heavily impacting Tennessee!
